Is Melanotan a Good Option for a Natural-Looking Tan?

As more and more people understand getting a natural tan can actually be detrimental to their health, they are moving towards fake tans instead.

A typical fake tan, however, can make your skin look orange instead of natural, which is why many people just do not use fake tan products.

Move to a product like Melanotan, however, and could that be a good option for a natural-looking tan?

What is Melanotan? — The product includes the pigment melanin. This is the pigment in your skin that causes it to go brown when exposed to sun. That is why Melanotan is able to cause your skin to become a natural shade of brown, rather than the orange color so many other fake tan products provide.

How do you use Melanotan? — The product comes in liquid form along with a number of syringes. This is because Melanotan needs to be injected into your blood stream, unlike other fake tan products that are rubbed into your skin.

You only need to use just one or two syringes full of Melanotan, however, for it to provide you with a natural looking tan.

How long does it take for a tan to develop? — If you use Melanotan today, you will usually have a natural-looking tan within 24 to 48 hours. You must expose part of your body to the sun, however, for at least 15 minutes for the tanning to actually begin to occur.

How long will a Melanotan tan last? — Just like a natural tan, a tan caused by Melanotan will generally last up to a month. If you enjoyed the color your skin was while you had a tan, at that point you can inject one or more doses of melanotan again and your natural-looking tan will reactivate itself.
